Ian Allen
Ian Allen is an Irish digital illustrator. With a degree in visual design and communications, Ian lives and works in the centre of Ireland. Art has been his lifelong calling as he has been drawing since he could hold a pencil and slide it across a piece of paper.
Illustration is Ian's passion and also his pastime as he loves to become absorbed into his own little world of his creations. He moved up from pencil and other traditional art to digital art in 2007 and has been using Photoshop in his workflow since. He loves kids' book illustration because he can create beautiful worlds and characters for his own two daughters Sirin and Ava.
He also enjoys character design illustration for games, experimenting with 3D digital sculpture and occasional PC gaming.
