Chris Witty

Christopher Whitty is an playwright, songwriter, illustrator and cartoonist who lives on a horse farm in Eastern Ontario. He has a university degree in mathematics, thirteen years of service in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a weatherman and almost two decades of employment for the Canadian government in the IT industry.

 

Chris has a loving and supportive wife named Louise and three children who are his pride and joy. His hobbies include church choir, painting, amateur theatre and building a barn.

Harold of Angels is his first commercial publication. It is a culmination of over five years of diligence, imagination and dreaming with new songs and an original premise. The story is a fictional representation of many aspects and events that shaped Christopher Whitty’s life. It was produced in January 2018 in Ottawa Ontario and all reviews were very positive.

Christopher’s previous full publication was a children’s book called Mr. Wu’s Zoo which was self-funded. His daily comic strip and political cartoons have appeared in four newspapers and he has submitted articles that have regularly appeared in several other newspapers.
